C6 Corvette Nitrous kit installed by YPerformance

We installed a Nitrous Oxide kit on the Corvette C6 for our customer.

How to install nitrous oxide kit on the Corvette?

Installing C6 Corvette nitrous kit is a relatively straightforward process, but there are some steps that should be followed to ensure a successful install.

First, you’ll need to get the necessary components for your kit. Here we used the Nitrous Outlet kit from https://nitrousoutlet.com/

This should include the nitrous oxide bottle, solenoid, lines, nozzles, and other essential components.

Once you have the components, you’ll need to mount the bottle securely in the car. It’s important to ensure the bottle is firmly secured so it doesn’t move around during operation. This is where we use our custom-designed bracket for mounting the bottle

Next, you’ll need to connect the lines from the nitrous oxide bottle to the solenoid. Make sure the lines are securely connected, and that the line from the bottle is connected to the high-pressure side of the solenoid.

Then, you’ll need to connect the solenoid to the throttle body. This is done by attaching the solenoid line to the throttle body with a hose clamp. You’ll also need to connect a vacuum line to the solenoid so it can tell when the throttle is open or closed.

Finally, you’ll need to install the nozzles. These should be attached to the intake manifold where the air is being pulled in. Make sure the nozzles are securely mounted and that the lines are connected properly.

Once you’ve completed the installation, you’ll need to test the kit and make sure it works properly.

These kits allow the driver to increase the horsepower of their vehicle by up to 30%. The kit is installed in the engine bay and it contains two tanks, one for nitrous oxide and one for fuel. To activate the nitrous oxide, you need to press the button. When you do this, it will release a burst of nitrous oxide into the engine which will make it go faster.
