Solite battery is manufactured by Exide Technologies. They are designed to provide reliable power and consistent performance for a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and SUVs. They come in different sizes and types to fit the different specifications of different vehicles. Solite batteries are typically maintenance-free, designed to resist damage from vibrations and have a wide operating temperature range. It is important to ensure that the battery is installed by a trained professional and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines for safe and proper operation.

Crankshaft Oil Seal

The crankshaft oil seal in a Nissan Murano is located at the front of the engine, between the engine block and the crankshaft. Its purpose is to prevent oil from leaking out of the engine and into other areas of the vehicle. This seal is made of rubber and is designed to be a tight fit around the crankshaft. If the crankshaft oil seal in a Murano is damaged or worn, it may need to be replaced to prevent oil leaks. This is a common issue that can be caused by normal wear and tear, as well as exposure to high temperatures and pressures in the engine. It is recommended to check and replace the seal if there is any sign of leakage or damage to prevent further issues.

A crankshaft oil seal, also known as a main seal, is a mechanical seal that is located between the engine block and the crankshaft. Its purpose is to prevent oil from leaking out of the engine and into other areas of the vehicle. A typical crankshaft oil seal is made of rubber and is designed to be a tight fit around the crankshaft. It is typically located at the front or rear of the engine, depending on the design of the engine. If a crankshaft oil seal is damaged or worn, it may need to be replaced to prevent oil leaks.

Fuel Injector Flow Test and Cleaning

Fuel injector cleaner and tested the flow rates.

A fuel injector flow test is a diagnostic procedure that measures the amount of fuel that a fuel injector is able to deliver. The test is typically performed with a specialized tool, such as a flow bench, that simulates engine conditions and measures the fuel flow rate. The results of the test can be used to determine if an injector is functioning properly or if it needs to be replaced. The test is common in automotive repair, and can be done in any professional workshop.

An ultrasonic bath is a cleaning method that uses high-frequency sound waves to agitate a cleaning solution and remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants from surfaces. In the case of fuel injectors, an ultrasonic bath can be used to clean the injectors and remove any buildup of dirt, fuel residue, or other contaminants that may be affecting their performance. The injectors are placed in a cleaning solution and exposed to ultrasonic waves, which create tiny bubbles that implode and generate high-pressure, high-temperature cleaning action that remove dirt and grime from the injectors. Ultrasonic cleaning is considered an effective method for cleaning fuel injectors, and is commonly used in automotive repair and maintenance.

Power Steering Pipe (Leakage)

Power steering pipe replacement of Nissan Murano

A power steering pipe is a component of a power steering system in a vehicle. It is a tube or hose that carries the power steering fluid from the power steering pump to the steering gear or rack and pinion assembly. The fluid is under pressure and helps to make the steering of the vehicle easier, by providing additional force to the steering mechanism. The power steering pipe can become worn or damaged over time and may require replacement. Power steering pipe is made of metal, rubber or synthetic materials, and typically it is connected with fittings or adapters. The most common issues with power steering pipes are leaks and cracks.

Spark Plugs

The engine belt, also known as the serpentine belt, is a belt that powers various engine components in a Murano. It is responsible for driving the alternator, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump, and other accessories. The belt is typically made of rubber and runs around a series of pulleys that are connected to the different engine components.

It’s important to check the condition of the engine belt periodically, and replace it if it shows signs of wear or cracking. If the belt snaps, it can cause serious damage to the engine and other components.

Brake Bleeding

Brake bleeding is the process of removing air from the brake system of a vehicle. Air can become trapped in the brake system when the brake lines are disconnected or replaced, causing the brakes to feel spongy or unresponsive. Bleeding the brakes helps to ensure that the brakes are working properly and that the brake pedal feels firm.

It’s important to use the correct brake fluid specified by the manufacturer and also to follow the proper bleeding procedure for a Murano to avoid any damage to the brake system. If you are unsure of how to bleed the brakes.
