YP Engineers utilized Solidworks (3D rendering software) to develop the blueprint for the maximum optimized inlet and outlet exhaust flow. Our engineers carefully crafted and 3D printed the downpipes to align with the OEM fitment. YP q50 catless downpipes use heavy gauge stainless steel to retain the heat flow as much as possible in the downpipe. The threaded O2 sensor bungs on the q50 3.0 t downpipe /q60 downpipe allow the use of factory O2 sensors on your Infiniti. The intensive Dyno and Run test results prove that our downpipes perform way better and are not prone to cracks like the alternative downpipes offered by some of the competitors. YP’s downpipe not only performs better but also makes the sound even better.

Testing our shop Q50 with our VR30 Full Downpipes and YP Tune, our Engine Calibrators measured a 40 horsepower increase. As a result, the power came on earlier and the twin turbo’s spool-up was significantly improved. Due to the long gradual transitions within the mandrel bent pipe section, exhaust gases maintain velocity without building up back pressure inside the system. Our superior engineering skills enabled us to design a superior product.
